Redline - Marker

I drew out the eight-head method of drawing a human figure. (Classic proportions are usually at 7.5 feet, but 8 is a simpler rule that works just as well). Beyond the heads, you can use a few rules of thumb to double-check the anatomy:

1. Elbow is in line with the navel.
2. Hips between elbow and wrists.
3. Wrists at groin level.
4. Knees are two heads above ground. Or, knees are halfway between groin and feet. 
5. Distance from feet/heel to groin is the same as groin to top of head. 

In redlining, I lifted the hips, narrowed the shoulders, added hands and feet. The main issue in the original was that the torso was too long. But it was a good base overall!
